Prepare yourself for the brand that over does it with so many ideas for packaging they may just be in the wrong industry, It’s been a while since I have done a ColourPop post. Hard to keep up, but probably should have tried because now I must make either multiple posts or one very large post, but hey, here we go. I may make comments on the colors and packaging along the way because they really know their packaging…like I said before, ya know?
I know nothing about any of the recent “new” collections, so I am going to play a guessing game with myself trying to get what the theme is based on names and packaging. I’m also going to put them in categories based on what I think goes together, and at the end I’ll score myself because Colour Pop is making me work on this post. Like damn girls, chill.

I have noticed a HUGE amount of just positive reviews on every single product, and it makes me so weary. It is incredibly suspicious because I remember in the past their products barely had any reviews. Some reviews come off very much like the person received it for free or they wanted some sort of recognition. I personally have had several poor experiences with their products, and it turns out this brand is sadly one that WON’T post your negative reviews and will delete negative comments on their Instagram posts! Make sure to read Google reviews before purchasing. I got an idea ColourPop. Instead of deleting negativity, let the buyer decide with the full picture. If people don’t like it, change it or stop making it. It’s literally that easy.
I also noticed that on the shadows with negative reviews, they have added reviews from all the other shadows in that category to drown out the old negative reviews from three years ago. The last date I could find a negative review on their site was in 2019.

(it says It’s a Small World on the packaging. I put what I would have guessed). I find it odd they’d make a collection for this ride because I’m from California and almost everyone I know hates this ride. I like it well enough, but most people I know find it annoying.

I feel like some of those aren’t new shades just new packaging, but I think it’s ok in this situation because the jelly much shadows are out of stock pretty frequently.

Hey! Wow! You made it to the end! Why not check out this really interesting article about 7 secrets regarding the ColourPop brand? I find some of it concerning to be honest. ColourPop stated they aimed to be the “beauty of fast fashion…”
I will say I think they have dialed it back a bit. It use to be a new collection every week, but it’s not like that anymore. Way to go ColourPop! Progress! Can’t confirm all of these are new. Not obsessed with ColourPop, so feel free to correct me! Some of the collections that were in new arrivals when I started aren’t anymore, so I don’t know the name of the collection. Eeek. Not that there seemed to be a clear name anyway.
PS I’ve unsubscribed from ColourPop. Sorry girls, we’re breaking up.
