FB Eaze Drop (Review) & RdeF’s Thorn Oil (First Impression)

  1. I bought the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop skin tint which I was so excited for because I do not like a heavy coverage, but I was a bit disappointed by it. I was impressed that the shade matched my skin perfectly (it was purchased online with no previous experience with the brand’s face products), but it was incredibly drying and required a primer to be used underneath, and I wasn’t aware of this until after I had all ready tried the product. I am also suspicious that it may have been the culprit for a minor breakout. I did try Clarins Flash Balm underneath, and it was much less drying, but I just felt it was too heavy with both products.
  1. I usually shy away from primers because in the past, they have consistently broken me out. I am currently trying Rituel de Fille’s Thorn Oil Priming Facial Elixir to see how it affects my skin. Every product that I have used from Rituel de Fille has not once hurt my sensitive skin nor broke me out. I have yet to wear it under makeup and have only been checking to see how it makes my skin look over all without makeup. So far, it seems to float on the skin instead of being absorbed by it. If it makes my skin look good enough without makeup, on some days, I will wear only this instead of a skin tint or light coverage foundation.
  2. I would have preferred to use a simple skin tint without a primer as it seems like a product that wouldn’t require one. I will be trying the Eaze Drop over the Thorn Oil, but I mainly plan to use the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop to cover a scar on my hand since it matches my skin tone so well, and I don’t wish to waste the product.
