Since I have bought A LOT of ColourPop, I feel really comfortable criticizing them. I have bought many items just due to nostalgia and only a few do I regret because the quality was just not there. In general, I am pretty sure I am safe from actually buying this collection. It’s a bit sad in a way because I absolutely love lemons, but thank goodness this is a more of the same collection with different packaging.

Let’s review
- The eye shadow palette – let’s see: I see 5 interesting colors. If this was a 5 pan palette of limone squeezy, amalfi, serenade, capri, and la festa, I would buy that palette in a heart beat, but let’s be honest, those other shades are filler. I have had it with their brown palettes with a few shades of color. Before you say, “Well, Kathryn, those aren’t brown, they are…” Oh yeah? I see a yellow brown, a shimmer brown, a terracotta (reddish brown), a light brown, and a dark brown. Don’t try to tell me it’s a yellow and a red because by that standard, brown doesn’t exist. I have nearly every single one of the other colors not listed by name in single ColourPop pans which I guarantee will be better quality. It’s their way of pumping out palettes quickly, and it’s annoying, and I’m sick of it.
- Same old, same old, blush sticks with yellow packaging.
- Only interesting shadow stick is the blue one, and I would never wear it.
- Great. More lip glosses. Whatever happened to those lip oils? I am in love with their lip oils.
- Fourth ray beauty breaks me out
- I would buy the makeup brushes if it didn’t have a face brush
Another disappointing collection. Before you think I’m just being catty, here is my non-up to date colour pop collection. It’s from August, so you must know that it is no where near my full collection. I have a problem. That’s why these posts are important for me.
